it wasn't too hard, i dont think i did it the right way, but its done! the grill is clipped on to the outer chrome piece. after removing the engine cover in the front, you have to take off the weather strip with the little pins from the grill part. several clips and bolts holds on to the body itself. after taking off the clips and bolts, the outer chrome piece couple be slide outward (the bottom will still be attached to the bumper and i dont know how to remove it completely). the outer grill is held on to the inner grill by tabs. release the tabs and should be able to slide it off at the top. and now, the inner grill is also clipped on by tabs, unclip it and the grill should slide forward and loosen up. with that said, the inner grill can be slid out from the top, and be replaced with a new griill.

yep its lx-mode, i got it off a CL member that posted it on GS3 marketplace. i couldn't wait til later so i put it on right when i got it. took about 15mins. it's not metal, it's chrome plated. usually these grills are 200? i think from the group buy from carson, and the lexus logo holder was additional, but i got a killer deal on here.
