Default Remote source for amp

Installing a separate amp and sub combo.

-Which wire it the remote like on the factory amp? (saw someone use the cig fuse, but i already ran my positive, running another wire is a pain)

-And what about the audio outputs from the factory stereo. What color are those wires that plug in the the factory amp?(probaly just use the factory wires going to the sub as my source)

i couldnt find an amp turn on behind the radio or going to the amp. i ended up using an unused fuse from the fuse box under the driver side. there is one unused spot that turns on when the cars on i just put a blown fuse and wraped the wire around it. i hope that makes sense. i taped the wire at the sub to add a line out converter.

i understand the fuse deal...maybe i'll just get a tester..poke at some wires that go to the amp in the trunk...then i can post up for future reference.it'll just be nicer to just have 2 feet of wire back there...

and u said you taped the wire at the sub...as in didnt cut just joined the wire. I'm just going to cut it if i go that direction...wont need the factory sub..

thanx for the imput!!!
