How do I go about trying to get sponsorships for my car ? Any one have some good advice or can point me in the right direction ? Thanks

 

yes.. you need to make sure your car is pretty much all modified.. go to events, get some coverage

then apply for sponsorship if it's open to vendors of your choice, that's a harder route

most people get sponsorship through local teams that are sponsored by the parts manufacturers.

yeah, never think that sponsorship is a way to get parts for cheap. it's about relationships and business. and i have to say in today's economy? it's only tougher. looking at your mod list, you have a long way to go before companies are willing to "invest" in your car by sponsoring.

me for one don't seriously go after sponsorship coz' of all the events schedule. it's painful

 

not to mention the crap load of stuff that you don't want but forced to put on your car and the super ugly stickers and unlimited events you have to go

that's why I mentioned team sponsorship, so at least you get much cheaper parts that way

nothing will be free these days...

 

true to what they say... sure they will sponsor you but u still have to pay for parts and if you get it at cost then they are good because you have to attend the shows and stuff. Basically your doing the hard work after they give u the part.

 

yep...only now after all these mods am i getting companies contacting me...

yeah its been tough for me till recently to get anyone to even look at the car, but they want the car to pretty much be modded like crazy and the car to look good and clean to even think about sponsoring it, especially with todays economy they have to really think twice before investing there time and money in a car...

hopefully artisan spirits will take the car on..its a maybe, but looking on the good side of that i hope...hopefully my buddy can finish that up for me, if you reading this get that finished already heh
