Default Question about Tint

Can someone tell me if you have to take the door panels off to tint a GS350.

I don't believe that is necessary. From the many times that I've had a car tinted and the place would let me watch....they either have a computer cut the tint or they will do it manually. When they did it manually they would spray the outside of the window down and lay a sheet of tint over that and cut around the frame of the window. After that they normally use a heat gun to form the tint to the window's curvature. If I remember correctly the bottom of the tint always had extra length to tuck down inside the door frame. Once they begin applying the tint to the inside of the window, they will partially roll the window down and position the tint as close to the top as they can, then as they moved down the window they roll it back up and tuck the excess into the door frame.

no you do not need to. an experienced tinter will be able to cut the appropriate size by using the window itself.

no, they sprayed the outside of the window to hold the tint in place while they cut it for size.
