Hi Steve

I also want to get 5k bulbs for my OEM HID. Which do I get? I see there are 3 different types on ur website. Just the replacement ones or the other ones? If you can send me a direct link, that would be awesome! thanks.

Hi,

The coupon code is "CL"

Once you add the item to your shopping cart you will see that there will be a place to enter a coupon code. Please type in "CL"

Your OEM HID low beams use D4 bulbs. Unfortunately the D4 bulbs that we sell only come in 6000k and 8000k (not 5000k).

Steve,

I was actually looking at "9006 / HB4 3000k Xtreme Xenon HID Conversion Kit" for 3GS fogs and try to apply "CL" code, but it tells me its invalid and price stays at $199. Do I need to use a different coupon code? You guys really sold me on HID And, my wife was just recently asking what do I want for xmas, so it makes sense

BTW, I'm still trying to find DIY instructions someone posted about HID fog installation. Can't find it anywhere. Anybody has that link? I don't see problem getting to the lights and removing them, but I need some guidance where to mount ballast modules. Is there some pre-drilled holes? I assume its not double-sided tape mounting Can anybody give me an advice on that? Thanks!!!

... never mind, saw "slk_dds" comment about double-sided tape. Will be sufficient especially going over the bumps?

Twister, I had my on the side of the front bumper for almost two years; so far so good!!!

FYI, my ballast was designed over two years ago; new one is third of the old design, so you should not have problem with double sided tape!!!

Hope this helps,

Steve

Sorry about that... It will work now =)

Double sided tape definitely works well however I would always suggest reinforcing with tie straps to be on the safe side.

Hey guys,

I've been lurking around here for a while, and absolutely love the site. Quite possibly the most informative and friendly car forum out there.

I just placed an order yesterday for the XenonDepot 6500K foglight kit. I've seen nothing but rave reviews about the sponsor from members on this site, and wanted to go with a legitimate product. Unfortunately, the kit isn't going to be available for 2 weeks, but I'm sure it'll be worth the wait.

I won't be changing my stock headlight bulbs anytime soon, which is why I didn't go with the 8000k even though many of my friends were suggesting to do so. But for those of you that ordered the 6500, how do you like em? I'm really excited to have them installed.

Hi LeXgs35,

Please PM me with your order number so that I can look into this for you.

Good choice on 6500k over 8000k. I personally prefer them over the 8000k as well.

I love mine (they are 6K, not 6.5K)... really lights up the road nicely for me.... I run them 99% of the time over the last 2 years when I have the headlights on.... good choice! Quality kit too.... no issues.... just put that drip loop in there in case a huge puddle crosses your path and it all gets wet up in the wheel housing...
