I slacked off and didnt bring it in yet. Whats odd is the squeaking has stopped all together now. Going to drive it around some more to see if it comes back. Weird...

Today it was 32C (year..I live in Canada) it is somewhere around 90 and they called me and said cannot hear anything... I was so pissed off, because every single day before today it is a "junky" car noise...

there is no such thing as perfect pads, take your pick
You can get aftermarket pads that are performance with less dust (eg Endless pads comes to mind).

vladbph, I had the opposite problem. My brakes use to squeak when I had the high dust pad. When they change it to the low dust pad, which is supposed to squeak more, the brakes stop squeaking. I am thinking that the squeaks has more to do with workmanship than material.

That is exactly what I was saying and now having hard time convincing my dealership to fix it. As I said before main reason for changing to low dust pads wasnt the dust, but squeaking as well...

Yes, otherwise I could live with old ones...BTW, how long ago did you change them? My new,low dust brakes, were fine for about a month or so too...

The squealing I had with the low dust pads was intolerable. Dealer put regular pads back on and although there is the dust, these brakes are silent and stop on a dime.
