Absolutely not. It's just like getting any other window tinted.

It is illegal in the states, but depending on the cops and laws in the state, the police do not mess with you. I have 35% on my car and have not had any problems.

If they know what they are doing, it shouldn't be a problem. I have had 3 windshields tinted and never experienced a problem. The hardest part is finding someone to do it, since it is illegal.

I've had my windshield tinted in every car I've owned, 3 being Lexus, and never had a problem.

Yeah, no problems here either. Of the 2 or 3 places I went, they all did it knowing its illegal. They did make me sign some papers.

I was going to say that I thought that it was acceptable to do a light tint on the windshield in Florida. AZ is hotter and we probably get even more sun, but we can only do the sides and the rear. Its rare, but looks pretty cool. I had a friend from florida who had the windshield in his GSR integra tinted. I grew up in LA and it generally was a fix it ticket . I once had the tint removed from my side windows, went to the sherrifs dept to have the papers signed off, then went straight back to the shop that removed the tint in the morning to have the tint put back on.
