Default Shake Rattle and Roll

Hi my 07 gs450h after 7000 miles developed a dash rattle seems to be coming from the passenger side, could be the seat but Im pretty sure its the dash, anyway another 1000 miles later it now sounds like two small marbles clickng together its really annoying given the rest of the car is refined. Car is still under warranty is it worth getting fixed gven that they will have to take the whole dash off? Or am I best of putting up with it. Im also getting an occasional clicking sound from behind the speedo as well

I've had creaks, squeaks and rattles in my 450h since the day I bought it. The dealer fixed the most annoying squeak that seemed to be coming from the top of the windshield. But since then my car developed several more that I believe are going to be much harder to diagnose and fix, including a creak from the passenger seat and a rattle from the passenger door/dashboard area. I'm going to take it to the dealer again, but I'm not holding my breath this time...

I've got same issue. I once took it to dealer and they have put the O-Rings between dash tweeter speakers and speaker grill. Unintensionally, I had a chance to take a look at the invoice thay made, they were going to bill the amount of about $600 to Lexus Corp. Eventhough I gave service guy a printed TSIB issue about windshield rattle, they didn't even say anything about that issue. I still have rattle at Mid vent area, passenger dash, backmirror and passenger seat area.

Atleast you guys have noted an improvement I guess to the initial problem, I guess my worry is after taking the dash out something else buggers up. Before purchasing the car that was one of the comment complaints the rattles and squeaks.

I would get it fix, the dealers are getting pretty good at taking the dash of the GS part now, scary thought. I had my creaking noise fix by the dealer, they took the whole dash part and padded everything and took out the windshield clips. Aside from a few gaps that wasnt as tight as before, no major complain so far.

Basic warranty is 4 years/50k miles. It's a great benefit of owning a Lexus...why not utilize it!

I've had my GS460 2008 for only a few months and have had several rattles already. The dealership already fixed the one coming from my passenger door, but now I'm hearing one from the rear right door or seatbelt area that gets more annoying by the day. I am due for my first oil change so hopefully they can fix this one.

they will take it apart and line the back of the dash connection points with felt tape. its pretty standard and they have absolutely done a few at all of the dealerships. take it in or it will just aggravate you.

Why wait?
The dash rattles are fixable, you do not have to put up with them.
