Default 1k Mile Personalized Settings

Did you guys have the dealer change any settings? The only one I am thinking about is that when the door opens, all interior lights come on, not just the local ones. Any others you guys toyed with?

no changes for me either. i looked at the list several times trying to find something i wanted to change and just couldn't. It's nice that it's configurable but I left mine as delivered.

I changed the lock setting such that it no longer unlocks all doors when placed in park. Not the safest setting to have in Houston,...

Default headlight auto-off delay time

i had one setting changed. the headlights now stay on for i think 90 seconds, whatever the longest setting is, after the car is shut down. i think the factory default is the middle setting. that is the only thing.

i wish there would be a way for the headlights or fog lights and tail lights to come on when you disarm the antitheft. that would be nice.

i do also wish they would allow you to change more of the settings yourself instead of making a big deal about it. i had a chevrolet tahoe as a loaner/rental last year and i think i remember being able to change a lot of the settings on that car via the simple cluster display screen.

I had the headlight shut off as soon as I open the driver door, turn off the auto store away for the steering wheel, one click on the fob open all the doors and no delay when opening the trunk with fob.

I am thinking about having the dealer adjust the headlights to be more sensitive too, anyone out there have done that.Which setting did you guys adjusted to and how sensitive was it?

G, i had a shiny dime that was wagered on you suggesting they add one more personal setting: Dash Rattle-On/Off.

Yeah dash rattle off would be nice Seriously, if they can add a personnalize setting, I would say having a choice to link the auto folding mirror to engine off would be nice.

I have yet to do mine, but my 5k is coming up so I will do it then.

Most likely change the lock sequences.
Turn off lock when going out from park
Turn on Door lock over 13mph (whatever the range is)
Turn off unlock when the shifter is put into P
Few other things I can't remember off the top of my head.

I did this - I think there are 5 sensitivity settings. The default is 3 and I had it changed to 4 (don't quote me on this, though!)

I agree, the auto folding mirror like the LS would be a nice touch to the GS .....................

Gman, so far so good but it's no longer rainy season here, so I don't really know if the setting is perfect for cloudy/rainy days. It does come on sooner when I pull into an underground parking garage!
