The Truth about Dark Colors (PLEASE??)
so you won't regret it later when you see one. Matador red itself is the most gorgeous looking paint, would be my #1 choice for the IS250/350, but not necessarily the GS. My favorite colors for the 3GS are the smoky granite, black Sapphire & then Matador.
If you are not into washing your car at least once a week as yopu said earlier I would advise that you stay away from dark colors.
A silver would be good as it will not show the dust and dirt as easily.
Just my two cents.
Good luck on your purchase.
I've made my final decision... I went with the Matador Red. It's a gorgeous color as well, will be slightly easier to keep clean...
and Heck I'm a 29 year old single (well... not married anyways) guy, why NOT drive a red car?! :-)
Thanks,
Mark
the awesome part is.... it looks even better in person.
Yeah, my original decision was between Matador Red and Black Sapphire... I thought the Black Sapphire was a bit more understated and elegant, whereas the Matador Red was just like, "GIVE ME A SPEEDING TICKET PLEASE"... :-)
So.... hopefully I won't get any tickets. I love the color....
Going back to the original subject of this thread, do you find it really tough to keep clean?
I think I was kind of yearning for the red the whole time, but I thought maybe the blue was just... I don't know, the "more right" choice. Black Sapphire is definiltey gorgeous....
but now that I've made the call to the dealer to change the color I have NO DOUBT that I chose the right color for me!!! I'm REALLY excited, I just hope he gets it within the week!! (he thinks he will... :-) :-) :-)
I'M PSYCHED NOW GUYS!!!!

It's funny, I was talking to one of my buddies about my "color dilemna" and he goes.... "I'd love to have that kind of problem" ..... :-)
