Default Spring Cleaning

Need a little help from suspension experts.
My Tanabe NF210 springs have settled too much for me. The left side scrubs over uneven roads and serious highway dips slamm the wheel well too much for my comfort. I'm thinking of changing to coilovers so that I can raise the car if they settle too much.
But a cheaper alternative would be to change out that one spring on the left front. All the other locations sit perfectly.
So my question....will there be any suspension problems from changing the one spring.
Logically, there shouldn't be. Same spring rate, just a taller unsettled spring on 1 corner.
What do you guys think?

From what I have gathered from other threads in the 3GS section, its normal that the front driver side sits a bit lower no matter what. Its the weight that is making it sit lower.

I would just go with coilovers if funds are available. I wish I would have gotten coilovers the 1st time, I want to go lower.

oh yeah PM'd u if u still wanted to do a shoot.

yeah changing that one spring won't help you anything at all, over time it will settle and get that low again and you rub. you aren't solving the problem

just go coilovers, that's the right way.

try h techs or change your front tire size. the 245/35/20 is to big. 245/30/20 is right at spec and will get rid of your rubbing issues. Being from florida the roads and road conditions should be optimal for such a low profile.

I would change the tire size up front. I had that same problem, switched to 30 series & no more rubbing.

When I had the SC300, I didn't think about money. Whatever I wanted, I just did it. Spent over 20K on that car, plus 25K to buy it and only sold it for 8K. It's not about having the money, I just don't want to do that again.

So, it's not as easy as just changing the front tires. Since Bridgestone doesn't make a 245-30-20, I'd have to change out all four to have a matched set. So if I'm gonna spend 1200, might as well get coils. Seems to me the most economical thing to do is change that one spring, by the time it settles this low again, the front tires should be worn down enough to prevent the rubbing. Especially if I keep them around 30 psi of air. I just want to make sure there are no safety issues involved in changing that one spring.
