Talking Looking for New Wheels

Hi all, Noob here. I own a 06 GS 430 and love the ride but hate the tires that it came with. They are the original tires and are very loud. I am in the market for some new wheel and been looking at the Asanti's or HRE's. Probably 20x8.5 and 20x10 (this seems like the common sizes). I don't plan on lowering the car so would this size rim fit? I notice alot of people like to lower the ride but is it just for the looks or does it actually ride better? Also could someone please give me some inputs on whether the HRE's are better than Asanti's or vice versa? One last question for now, anybody no the difference in the HRE's series? I tried to look on the website but it doesn't real explain the difference in the series. Thanks for any help and sorry for all the questions.

Those sizes will fit on the 3GS. IMO I really like the HRE's but they're $$$.

HRE is definently a better wheel than asanti. Everyone has Asanti's because they are a little cheaper. You see very few people with HRE's. You see Asanti's on every type of car from classy to donks. HRE is a more luxury wheel that goes with the lexus. Spend the extra money and go with HRE. I get people asking for Ashanti's all the time im not sure where they think the h came from.

eh..... personal preference IMO. depends on the style, if u want 1, 2, or 3 piece wheels. Some of HRE's wheel style are plain old ugly, while some are classic.

I would rather buy some BBS meshes or some Auto Couture wheels. There are a lot of options when it comes to wheels. You just have to know what you want and how you want it.

Thanks to all who replied. My wife works for a company that gets HRE's or Asanti's for wholesale. I am waiting on a price quote for a set of HRE and a set for Asanti's. If the price is right than I will probably go with the HRE. Will keep you posted.
