Guys, i did adjust the vertical aim a while back. I've noticed the last couple of days at start up that the lights go through their calibration up and down but not side to side. I cant swear it just started, i just now paid attention because I have been thinking lately that either the AFS wasn't working or my eyes had become desentisized to it because just didn't see the pivots when cornerning anymore. the AFS is on. Any chance doing the adjustment affected this? can't see the connection. wondered if anybody else has had that issue.

the lights are not supposed to go side to side when starting... if that's what you are wondering..

I did think that. hadn't really paid much attention for awhile but recently noticed recently our RX does go side to side and up/down at start up. If the GS isn't supposed to do that, then i'm ok then.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jLzXYhwi71Y

watch the first 5 seconds of it, it shows how it looks.

the auto leveler goes up and down and adjust to account for the weights in the car. why would it move left and right is beyond me.

i'll check again next time but confident the RX did the side to side in addition to up/down. don't usually use it myself so was noticeable when i drove it a couple of days ago. figured it was range of motion calibration or something. Long as the GS is good to go, no worries. maybe overthinking it. not as aware of AFS while cornering as it was when i got the car. maybe just used to it.

the headlight moves up and down for diagnostic i believe? shouldn't have anything to do with weights in the car, coz' when you start the car the headlights move all the way down, and then up.

i don't remember if the headlights move left right when you start the car (i don't think so), but i can check tonight when i drive it

LOL. Mine is opposite. My passenger side is like 4-5 inches lower on a wall about 10ft away. so you can bet its way off. its going in on Tuesday next week for fixing.
