07 GS350 Ipod?

Just a quick question, is it the 07 GS350 that comes stock with the Ipod input slot or the 08?

That would be correct (and that blows, btw)..I'm not sure how they managed to have it for the IS but not for the GS which costs more..what was their thinkin here?

tell me about it. the 06 was obviously a car that wasn't ready (ML not able to play mp3, etc...). but 07, i couldn't understand neither

I am very upset also that they did not put the Aux input for the system and I am very struggle on going for the Ipod integration kit because it interference with my XM radio that I have now......

you can get the vaistech unit, it shouldn't interfere with xm?

Or how about the fact that they all (even 08) still have tape decks

There are cassette adapters to allow you plug in your iPod. Ugly, but much better solution than FM transmitters.

just remember the age demographic this car is targeting, those are the people with years of tapes collection and who loves to listen to books on tape. It's nice to have, altho I'll never use it, but it doesn't bug me. It's an addition to everything else the GS can play. why complain?

lol, not when 08 already has the aux input right? i would think the aux input has better quality than tape converter

hahaha, in that case the ls460 is a problem without the tape deck i don't know, i just think it's ultra weird that the 2is and 4ls don't have it but the 3gs does

the cassette is so out it's in. retro is the rage. maybe they should add an 8track in the glove box.
