"I agree" gone
It just hit me today that the infamous "I agree" screen is now gone. When did it leave? On the start of the 3GS models?
I came across of a You Tube video of the navi on the 460L and it had the infamous "I agree" screen. Are we one up on the 460L owers? Seems hard to believe.

Can you still do the 'work around' for the motion lock out with your 4th Gen and the new Nav Disc? (the menu/volume/top/bottom/top/bottom/override)?

I had to go to the plug n play kit. Am happy with that.

Just be sure to get the v7 dvd that is right generation for your car. Gen4 is probably the answer based on the year/model in your signature. That's what my 06 has.
Is there a way to upgrade to Gen5 without replacing the head unit? I didn't think so. There is a firmware file on every release of dvd which works with that v of the software. My v7 dvd upgraded the firmware so I got all the new features etc but I agree it's still Gen4. I thought the Gen4 or Gen5 designation was the hardware and i'm stuck with what i've got Gen4 wise until i get a new car.

Lets see, how lazy are Lexus owners. Auto rain sensing wipers, auto headlights, auto dimming rear view mirrors and side mirrors, memory seats, heated side mirrors, motorized hatch on the RX and the list goes on and on
