After driving the car in just Sports mode the normal power on my GSh, I decided to turn on the Power Hybrid and compare gas mileage. Although the Power Hybrid mode does use more gas, I only sacrificed 1mpg. Tested it on 4 tankfuls, all in one mode or the other, not mixed, and got the same results. So my conclusion is, as people say, people don't by a Lexus hybrid to save gas, you buy it for its power. That's exactly what I did and now the Sports AND Power lights are on and will stay that way until I have to save that extra 1MPG

I wish I could say the same. The difference for me has been closer to 3 mpg. I suppose that it could be b/c I have a much heavier foot when the car is in Pwr Hybrid mode.

That's a great test. I'm simply amazed by Lexus Hybrid Drive and it's capabilities.
