Default 2008 GS350 Pricing

What are you folks paying?

I got a quote for 45,250 on a 08 GS350 w/Navi from a Southern California dealership.

^^^So, about $5k off? That's pretty good for SoCal. That's about $1k above invoice.

You can ask for a little more off. Or you can try to get more perks afterwards, such as financing perks, extended warranties, or pre-paid services.

I'll jump on it whenever the price falls to invoice (or 43k), which I won't expect to happen for another month or two, at the minimum.

You guys are using global warming math again: 49k - 45 = 4k

Actually 4k off for an '08 is great for this time of year (new MY), I figure there's about a 6.5k spread b/w msrp & invoice.

That's a good discount for units that just hit the showroom. I thought that MSRP (or close to it) would be the selling price for the 08s this early in the game. I bet some of those that just purchased 07s may now feel like the price differential was worth going with the 08 instead.

Regardless...congrats on the purchase and in reference to the mentioning of global warming. Check out the following video, it's one of the most interesting and enlightening videos you can ever see.

Well, El Monte said they could sell me one for MSRP, which is about 49,300, so I told him that the other dealer (Glendale) could offer me a far better price.

it sucks really bad to see 08 gs350 getting deals like this, because folks like us who have been waiting for the gs460 for a while have to pay msrp for the 460

not that many dealer even have the car, not even Longo and the first GS460 in the showroom is going to the president of longo.

due to its scarcity, we have to pay so much premium over the GS350

so this GS350 is roughly a bit less than 50k OTD, I got quoted 66k for GS460 OTD.

is the GS460 worth the 16k extra?

GS350's resale is rather poor, I wonder how's the GS460's?

I doubt it's worth the extra dough...

Time for a change of mind and going for a 08 GS350 instead?
Just call up my friend @ Glendale & see what he can do for ya on the 460. Hope everything works out for ya...I'm kinda pissed that the 350s are getting deals like this, but oh well...at least I have a better front grill without all that chrome...
