Default rear camera does not come on after navi mod

I have a gs350 with navi and ML. I did the dvd and navigation mod. Everything is working good with the switch, but when i put the car in reverse, the rear camera sometimes come on and sometimes it doesn't. So it's very random. Anyone have this problem or know what i should check for?

The cable maybe loose. I did the hack with no switch and my navi screen still tracks my location. Good luck.

I just need to know which wires to check for the reverse camera to show up so i know that it is not loose. The hold dvd and navi hack works well it's just now the rear camera doesn't work.

It's one of the wires you messed with...
When I did my mod, if I remember there is a red/white with silver.... WHen I cut that, I connected the wrong ends at first and from what I remember everything worked fine, but the camera.
Once I tightened and reversed the connection, everything still worked fine, but also the camera.

Just fiddle with the wires you manipulated and I bet you will solve your problem.

I'm guessing that your Nav is not smooth scrolling anymore. Correct? IOW - The car position indicator movement is jerky rather than smooth.

Navigation is good, smooth and when i need to do the address i just flip the switch and i can enter the address, so the navigation is good. I did the mod right. It's just the rear camera doesn't work. Non of those 3 wires i cut have to do anything with the camera right?

My comment was directed at Smalldog, who said he did not use the switch.
