Question 2008 Changes

Anybody? I'm trying to find out waht changes will be on the 2008 models. Everybody either really doesn't know yet or they have been doing a great job of keeping it a secret.

Search the forum. It's been discussed a few times within the past 30 or so days.

Default No Luck

I tried that already and came up with very little other than some speculation & predictions on a few posts.

I agree with StevenC56, there is no info about 2008 changes has been comfirmed (if there has been).

Me too, in the same boat to decide for 2007 or wait a few month for 2008, any info will be greatly appreciated.

Unless it was speculation, I read that there will be signal lights in the side mirrors, a new headliner, the fuel door release will be incorporated into the dash, revised headlamps, revised taillamps and a brunette under the steering wheel providing 'throttle' control (OK..OK...I'm kidding about the headliner).

I kind of like the fuel door release button but what I really want to know is how big are the ***** on the brunette?

I heard that the brunette will be the "headliner". Maybe I should wait for the 2008's.

Haven't heard great problems yet ... just the typical bugs here and there ... although i haerd many conversations outside this forums from lexus techs that they feel the previous gen engine was build stronger, which doesnt mean the current gen engine is bad...

So curious --- even though nobody really knows the "what" question, anyone know the "when" (i.e. when do the 2008s appear?) Life was so much simpler when 2008 mean 2008...

There is a thread on here that lists the changes. I stumbled on it the other night, but I'm not sure how you would search for it as I don't remember the title. Guy works at a lexus dealership and seems to know what he is talking about.

Cool Ordered 2007

Well, our BMW is sold and will be gone this Saturday. My wife doesn't want to wait for an 08 and we went ahead and ordered an 07. Also, my wife and I are not gamblers. We know what an 07 looks like and we like it. Changes like tail lights, wheels and such are not always nicer looking to everyone. The color that's replacing GFM may not be to our liking. Who knows at this point. We decided to go with the sure thing. GFM/Ash with ML and XM.
