Has anyone seen a mod that'll make the 3G's trunk lid spring wide open once the trunk release button is pressed on the remote?

This is standard on the 5-Series and is a nice feature since you don't have to find a free hand to lift the lid.

I'm curious, so thought I'd ask.

One of my biggest complaints is the amount of effort it takes to get the trunk fully opened. There really isn't much assist. It should be more springy when it opens.
