My new GS !!
Well folks, here it is. My black one is going back to Lexus. I picked up a clean fully loaded GS and this time I will ignore any small rattles so that it does not become what my other GS became. It is a GS300 with chrome spider G rims / ML / Nav. I still have the split spoke 18s I had purchased for the old car, I cant decide which set will look better on here!!! Any suggestions, also someone with a white GS post your pic with tinted windows and chrome 18s....

Just answered my own question. Amazing story. Did they just give you all your money back???
"Buy car in June 05...3-4k miles, speaker rattles, they replace some housing, till rattling....new glove box rattle shows up, they cant fix either. then a dash squeak....they scracth my fender while it is in the shop....it gets buffed out. then there are more dash rattles and dash gets removed. I get the car back and it seems quiet but I notice my car seat is dirty and wrinkled.....WTF. Deep ugly wrinkles in the seat...new seat is put in...then rattles come back...total time in shop like 44 days !! I meet with corporate, they hear the rattles and we go from there."

eyekutr- what problems did you have with your 300 and how many time did they attempt to fix them? was this a lemon law claim (3+ times in the shop). Did you get your entire purchase amount back? I noticed you stated in your 06 gs 300 value thread that you had too many small issues, I didn't know that could lead to a lemon claim.

To answer the why is it going to Lexus.....it was all rattles related. It had different rattles looked at at 4 different times and spent more than 30 days in the shop addressing them. In the end, I had more rattles than I began with. I have purchased about 7 vehicles from TMC since 01, 4 camries (yes 4), a RAV4, a GX and the GS. I brought this up with corporate and let them know I am loyal and i was sure this GS is not the typical Lexus experience. I asked them nicely to buy it back and never had to get ugly, as for buyback, they essentially calculated a proration which was very very very favorable in my favor. Lesson learned....Rattles....dont try to fix it if it is not really bad !!!! You may get more than what you bargained for. I picked this GS up as is....Mods in order
IPOD adapter (SLI)
Nav and BT bypass - will do at the same time ---- I can help anyone in the Riverside / Rancho - IE area...
Re-do the trunk light with LEDs on this one too
Aim low beams if needed (i know how now
)
Get chrome center caps put on !! Those are the original ones on there
The pic is at the seller's house and I will get more very soon.
