I feel like I am missing out. I use Zeiss loops, but they are kinda heavy. Lasers anyone?
Where is the link for the leds in the trunk? That looks like a great idea.

One more thing. I put that tint on an 06 Avalon I got almost two years ago and it is awesome! It really keeps it cool and I live in Phoenix.
BTW, my wife started called the Avalon an old man's car from about the second week I had it. It was a limited and I loved the technology, but the ride was pretty sloppy. The GS is MUCH better.

Besides, I am only 31. Not nearly old enough to have one of those. Awesome engine though. Truely a sleeper.

Next time when you are at a meeting, check out Zeiss microscopes. I use it for refining veneer margins, endo...etc. No more heavy loupes.

Do a search on LED trunk lights. I purchase those lights through superbrightleds.com. It's very easy to do.

Thanks.. it's a personal preference. Some people like it really dark (20%) and I just like light tint at this point. I chose to go with Huper Optik because of its quality. Google Huper Optik, you'll see what I mean. Call Tom at The Art Of Tint. He is in NYC and Brooklyn. Tell him Derrick sent you. He is a very nice guy and takes his time to do it.

I used to see a number of dark tinted luxury cars in a past (a few years back), but its rare today. Still very common for show cars, but for everyday driving, IMHO, to much of a limo tint just takes away from the car. One slight shade darker, like this 50% is more tasteful and subtle.

I'm actually curios how good is this Huper Optik in terms of keeping car cool inside and cutting down on bright sunlight? Usually, the darker the tint, the better its performance. Would it be the same with Huper Optik or 50% still does a job as well as 35%? The sunlight bothers my 2-year old in the back car seat. So, one of the reasons for me to get a tint is not just for a look, but also for functionality to keep sunlight away without those retarded pull-down Winnie The Pooh shades

Twister: I did some research before I chose Huper Optik. Many info suggest that this is the best film when it comes to tint. Do a search on tintdude.com also. I read it somewhere that if you request "factory tint" from bmw or porsche in europe, this is the film they put on from the factory. I am not sure if it's true; perhaps someone from european countries can verify this. When I was younger, I want the car to be completely black...ie. dark tint, black car, dark wheels. But now, that just doesn't do it for me anymore. I just want the benefit of tint, and not dark.

HO also has 40%. I am not sure if Tom carries 40%. I know he has 50 and 60. Not sure where you are in NJ, Tom is in NYC. He is the guy when it comes to HO film.

wow, 4 LEDs? It looks nice.

50% looks so... not much different from OEM. Think I'll go put in 40% since 35% is legal.. I got pulled over for a 30% tint and i even had my sunroof open...dam newbie cop. Hopefully 40% is dark enough and still legal.
