50% Huper Optik Tint
Finally got the car tinted. The days with dark tint car are long gone for me. Probably due to old age, poor eye sight...etc, it is hard to see through even 35% tint during winter time, or at night. I wanted the benefits of tint, and not to dark that I'd have trouble seeing. In addition, cops in my area are really cracking down window tints. I get enough attention just driving around GS, I don't want add't attention from cops. So, thanks to Tom from The Art of Tint.. http://www.theartoftint.com/, this is what I ended up getting... 50% Huper Optik film all around, and not the "Taxi Look", according to Tom. (dark in back and light in front). LOL

Thanks to 2thfixer, I also put in 4 LED lights in the trunk. I got these lights from superbrightleds.com. It is very easy to do. Since they are LEDs, they don't draw much juice from the existing circuit.

GreatSmile, I wish you would take a picture "before" and "after". This way it makes it easier to see how much effect this 50% tint has on a car with your exterior/interior combo.
Aside from that, it looks very good!!! I betch you many will even consider this as a standard factory tint, and cops shouldn't give you a hard time. If/when I decide to go with a tint, this is EXACTLY what I'm going to get. Looks very classy!!!

Yeah looks like you did nothing?... i dunno if thats good or bad for 1 cause you paid probally the same price as you would for something darker, but hey im sure all tints make a HUGE difference at night...

@twister: I do have some before pictures and I'll post them up tomorrow.
The question about going with lighter tint. For people who live in snowy country, you would understand what I am talking about... It gets difficult to see during winter time. And at this point of my life, I'd rather do dentistry then going to court. And, I am WAY passed this "hiding girls in the back" stage.
