First of all good to hear that you are alright. Unless the insurance company is generous or unseen damage it is unlikely they will right it off. Doesn't look like damage exceeds value of the car. It can be repaired but unless the bodyshop is exceptional or that they can change the whole panel then sorry to tell you that it will be very difficult for it to look like new again. I think trying to convince your wife would be a better idea.
