Is there a way to change the default display screen. Everytime I start my GS 430, the information screen comes on which displays everything about the car I really don't care about. I always have to switch it to the audio screen. Any way make the car display the audio screen by default so that I don't have to select audio every time I drive the car?

Mine starts up with whatever last screen I had before I turned the car off, which most of the time is my SAT screen. BUT, everytime I pickup a phone through BT and than hangup, it always goes back to that default screen which is annoying.

 

I'm not near my car at the moment, but I know in the LX, you can adjust it to stay on the screen forever..... not timed out response then defaulting back to the original....
I will check later on to see if this is possible with my GS. can't remember, I rarely even look or fidle around with the screen except when I adjust temp/fan.

 

Under "Info" and go into "screen setting". You can then select or de-select auto return to nav screen.

 

Don't have NAV, but will check if there is another option under Info and Screen Setting display. This return to info screen also gets on my nerves when I have mp3/folder view and receive the call. When I manual switch to Audio screen, it goes back to defaul 6 CD view and not the original mp3/folder view.

I'm telling you, you get spoiled really quickly with all these gizmos LOL!!! A year ago I was driving Altima SE and was complaining that I don't have in-dash CD changer
