Links to DVD & Nav hack override steps
How about a thread to pull together in one spot all the links to other posts in other threads summarizing steps to complete the Nav and/or DVD override. Here's what I could find in a few quick searches. Please add to it.
NOTE: There are differences between 2006 and 2007 GS models and there MAY be (I don't know for certain) differences between same year models (e.g., a 2007 GS350 and a 2007 GS450H), so read these posts carefully to determine which instructions apply to which model of car you have and proceed at your own risk.
I'm not adding any of my own commentary here, but rather just trying to pull together knowledge that already exists into one centralized place.

Sorry guys, I had posted the hack with instructions for the 2007+ GS but I deleted it due to liability reasons after consulting with my brother (attorney). That's why you will only see parts of it from people who quoted the deleted posts.

I enjoy my hybrid-nav-disc for three weeks. Everything works just fine.
I am not too worried about liability issue... hey, people share ideas here but no one will be forced to do any modification on your own car. Free will.
