Great MPG in a 2006 GS 300
Wow, I drove from San Diego to LA and back today. During the first half of the trip, my highest MPG average was 31.8 and after I got back home, it was 29.8 MPG. This was probably due to stop & go traffic on the 5 on the way back and some city driving.
Overall, I'm pretty darn impressed. I drove 270 miles today and my fuel tank needle is only 1mm down past half!

Wow.
I'm averaging 19mpg with mainly highway driving. Keep in mind, thats about 20 miles there, and 20 miles back. @ around 55-65mph.
If I drive to work only, its only about 4miles and its considered city driving. I get around 16-17mpg.

I am getting about 16-17 MPG doing city driving. Looks like I could get about 30MPG on the freeway, but there doesn't seem to be a way to reset the fuel mileage counter except between fill-ups... but looking at the instant fuel mileage bar, it hovers around 30MPG when I'm on the highway.

With my city stop'n'go drive I'm getting on average 19.7 mpg. That is half-an-hour drive each way with an average of 35mph. Can't wait for my first highway drive. Oh, and I only use Premium 93 gasoline.

hwy mileage is awesome, i set the cruise at 70 and 60 mile trip on the fwy (la to riverside), average was 34 mpg...this way right after a fill up, of course i exited the fwy and went up a hill and it dropped to 32.5 overall, but still hwy mileage at 65-70 if you have the patience to keep it there is amazing

I am now at 11K miles, and remember that avg is only for the hwy section going about 69 without a/c since it has been cool lately, I have never gotten over 26 mpg overall because my city driving is very poor, in fact mostly I am around 21 I think overall. I use premium gas and mobil 1 synthetic, keep tires up...

Was going as fast as traffic allowed... this was on between 60-80. I didn't want to drive too fast or I'd scare my mum =P. I didn't use cruise control but I did have the AC on.

I have a 2006 GS300,so I will throw this in for comparison. I just went to Canada from NJ. Each way was 475 miles. With the cruise control set on 70,I averaged 30.3 mpg going and 33.6 mpg an the way back. Gas used is always 91 octane.
Driving around town which is a mix of highway and stop and go,I average almost 25 mpg where my wife will average around 21 mpg.
