Verizon RAZR phone book update -
Today I went in to Verizon expecting to buy a new phone so I can transfer my #'s into the car. I also happen to have an older Razr with software version .03 which is the one that is not "hackable" to open up the OBEX/transfer settings.
I talked to a service tech who told me that Verizon JUST came out with a new firmware upgrade for all phones and that I should try it first.
He took my phone and 15 minutes later I was in the car and was ABLE to transfer over my phonebook, one entry at a time.
Many of my numbers to wife, parents, etc. have *82 in front of them so they know its me calling, this was also transferred over and works just fine...
So yesterday, no ability to transfer...
Today, free Verizon upgrade, (the one after V.04) all #'s sent to GS.

You must not have very many numbers if you transferred them one at a time.
Last I checked, I had 300+, I would be in the car an awfully long time if I had to do that even once. The sad thing is that the bluetooth setup in my GL450 downloads my ENTIRE phone book each and every time I get in the car and it takes about 20-30 seconds but my GS won't even do it once with my current phones.
