jk but seriously- might be a good choice. too many people focus on going fast before thinking how to stop fast. me included. ss brake lines are going in within the next couple of months.
sorry to see the damage - your wife must have been pretty shaken up. hope she's ok emotionally...
So since its replaceable, may as well make them replace the whole thing. Run it into a wall and bend that frame. You'll feel alot better with a new one.
First, let me say everyone came out unhurt, no injuries.
I am pissed though. My wife crashed the GS tonight. Plus, she got the ticket. Plus she hit a Porsche Cayenne. Car is only 2 months old and it's crashed. I'm just pissed. Feels stupid to post pics but everyone else does it. I guess it's therapy....but I'm still pissed.
I am glad no one was hurt. I would be curious to see pics of the Cayenne if you have any as I have both the GS and Cayenne. Thanks
Remember, a car is not a living, breathing thing. Your car can be fixed or replaced, but your wife can not. You need to tell your wife "thank G-d only the car was damaged and you were not. After all, you unlike the car are precious and not replaceable".

BBK probably would have saved the day. I know there is a big difference in stopping power between my G35 with those big rotors and the Lexus. Honestly, my wife was driving too aggressively and just needs to be more careful. I think she tries to emulate my driving style but my reactions are much quicker than hers and she doesn't understand that.
The car is at JMLexus and they say it'll take 2 months to fix it. It's going to be a looong 2 months.
2 months? thats nuts, what are they going to do reorder a new one from scratch from Japan?
That's how I feel. We are really missing the car. I'm missing it more than my wife because she's driving my G35 to work everyday. The 2 month period was given as a worst case scenario. I don't expect that but they had to tell me that in case there is some part they don't have and it needs to come from Japan.
