Default Bluetooth help- deadspots?

Hi everyone,

I love the system, have the had the hack performed, and use it everyday. However, I have found that my bluetooth connection between the phone and the car fades in and out. I get a "BT connection lost" then a "BT connection established" frequently, although not during calls. If I hold the phone in my hand near the steering wheel it almost always loses connection, like there is a dead spot there. Seems to work best from 20 ft away when my car is going through the carwash tunnel and I am at the register!

Any was to adjust signal strength? I am on my third Blackberry and it happened with all of them, although it seems to be worse with my new 8700C.

i haven't experienced anything like that, but we've been using Nokia and Samsung. i think the first generation bluetooth is buggy in a lot of ways... it may not be your BB's, could be just a compatibility problem between BT and BB
