I have the Samsung SGH-D606, it will connect with car no problems at all, but if I make or recieve a call, I can use the car to dial, but it will not let me talk through the system. Ex. I use the nav screen key pad, dial a number and press send the music will not mute, and although it calls the peraon I still need to use my phone to talk to them. If I recieve a call, the system mutes while ringing but as soon as I answer the music kicks back in and I need to use my handset to talk. Any ideas??
When asking for help on Bluetooth issues, it is helpful to mention not just the phone model but also the wireless carrier. Carriers will often customize the firmware and configuration of the phone, which has an impact on compatibility.
It is Rogers Wireless, I have had no problems with any of my other Rogers phones, but that is in my 06, this is the first time I tried in the 07, so I don't believe it is Rogers, but mostlikely my phone.
Samsung is known to use their own proprietary bluetooth stack. It's been a thorn in my side with my wife's 707 and her Parrott hands-free kit. I won't buy another Samsung phone.

I'm on Bell and I've successively used Motorla, Sanyo and Samsung phones in my '06 IS. It must be something in your phone setup, i.e. is it set to handsfree mode on Bluetooth? Have to followed the instructions in your phone manual? If you're local to TO, see me at one of the local Lexus meets posted in the Canadian forums and I'll help you out.
