Default Bluetooth and E815

I have accepted the limited bluetooth functions I have with my E815. However, when I make a call, the speaker kicks in and I can hear the person on the other line, but they cannot hear me. This used to happen when I first got the car, and it went away. Now the problem is back. Is this a Lexus issue or a E815 phone issue.

unfortunately it's both. the system has a lag between picking up your side of the call when you dial out from your cellphone. but some phones exhibit the lag while others don't. i have a nokia 6230 w/ a lag, and apparently yours is another model w/ a lag.

you can do a search on here for models that don't have the lag, but that' only useful if you are willing to switch handsets. the immediate way to avoid the lag is to always dial out from your speed dial on the screen, then the lag is eliminated. (if you want to be able to dial manually on the screen while in motion, you have to do the nav/BT hack and cut the speed sensing wire permanently)

Is this lag when the person first answers or is there a 5sec lag everyitme you want to speak?

basically if you dial from your cellphone, you will not hear anything (no ringing or voices) for a while or see anything on the screen for a few seconds. then before you know it the person you are calling is saying, "hello? hello?" because they've picked up long before you realize the call was connected on the BT system.

I have the E815 and there are no problems whatsoever.
