I`m curious if anybody`s car is making any creeking noice from the front window area.It seems the colder the weather the louder the noise gets. I`m trying to pin point the noise for the dealer to fix. I just cant tell if it from the windshield or the dash??. you here the noise when you go over a bump of any kind. The car is a gs 300 awd with about 7000 miles ,I do love the car but hope this can be fixed. Help

 

I also had that sound, the dealer said that the moonroof just needed to be lubed.

 

I'm getting it also, today at 8am i got to drop it off to fix the speaker that rattles on the right side ,,, this car is alsome but i thought lexus was relible this car been in the shop more then i can rember almost 8,000 miles now hope the problems will end ... i say just bring it to them and have then find whats wrong, easyer then u trying to guess

 

I have a soft rattle that I think is coming from the rear right passenger door but I can't locate the source myself. I'm probably going to need to have someone sit in the back seat while I drive. I also think I heard a creek from the moonroof so I pulled the panel back and then closed it again and it didn't creek again.

 

I have the exact same problem on my GS300 AWD (3500 miles).

It gets worse the colder it gets and I can't tell whether it is coming from the dash or the windshield.

Let me know if you find the source... It is not quite annoying enough on mine to take it in yet, but when I get the 5000 mile service done I will point it out...

 

I also have creeks,I think it's in the center near the radio.I will have it looked at during the 5000 oil change.Keep us posted.

 

I`m taking my gs in friday to have it looked at. I will keep you posted.It`s odd the noise get worse the colder it gets?? I still love the car.

 

I have the same creaking noise, can't really tell if it's from the dash or the windshield, and yes, it seems to be worse in the cold weather.

 

i sometimes get rattles from the back window visor thing
but i usually just turn the music up so i rarely hear it

 

Hmm, maybe that's where my rattle is coming from. Does it rattle when it's up or down, or both?

I have exactly the same problem and I noticed this only recently ( 1 week) when the weather got colder.

 

Maybe that is a good sign, since it is probably the same part/parts that are rattling on
all our cars.

Same creaking noise. Definitely louder as it gets colder. I notice it more in the morning. Wondering if it is the shield under the wipers.
