Got mine in the mail direct from Lexus and never even asked for them...

That's right they sent 2 one with a black loop and one with a silver loop for the valet's to hang it on their board.....

I found my fob holders when I was trying to put the manual in the glove compartment. They were in a little plastic bag. Since there is no light in the glove box, they were hard to find. Like I said truly by accident.

Are you serious? I couldn't find any. Salesman tried to explain the kep fob pouches come with the IS only. OMG... I paid $15 for the crap-leather one, not the buffel kind.

These were sent out to me direct from Lexus in the mail...didn't have to ask for them. The best feature is that they keep your key module from getting scratched while in your pocket. This is not the easiest glove to fit around the key fob. You have to stretch, slide, slowly for fear the entire gizmo will rip or separate into shreds. If you take your time...5 minutes or so, you can stretch it around so that the button holes line up with your buttons / indicator light.

I picked up my GS300 in October and these were received earlier this month.

PS. did anybody get the "silver" key module that's shown in Lexus media? Mine is just the plain black / grey? Wonder if the silver unit is for the GS430? Comments please.

 

Nope, got the black ones as well (got my GS back in June '05). Maybe newer owners have the silver fobs...they do look nice.

 

I got my GS on 12/29/2005 and got the dark grey (flint mica color) fobs. No pouches yet.... damnit!

Question: Did you guys have a tough time putting these little things on your key fobs?

I didn't want to tear the second glove apart so I saved it for some other time.


After all, if the gloves don't fit, you must.....a....quit !!!
