Crazy for wanting a GS 430 in CT?

I am in NY with a GS400/all season tires and it drive fine in snow.
Americans can not drive in the snow with RWD cars because they never tried, just take you
time and get use to it. For some reason everyone in US wants an SUV with AWD even
if they live in florida and never go off road.

You're right, excellent point. I had a 2000 GS400 and I was fine with it. BUT... the 06 GS430 with VDIM is soo much better than my 400 was in the snow. It's amazing the difference.

Would it be within your means to purchase a used 4Runner or Pathfinder or somethin for about 10-15k to use as a beater in the snow? Then you wouldn't have to worry about the 430 :-)
