this is true.
you want hid's on your fogs or are you just trying to get a similar color output? if your doing it for looks, i guess its up to you, but if your doing it for functionality, dont. HID fog lights will make visibility worse in a foggy situation.
i would like to make my fog lights bright yellow 2500K. But my question is what is the 9006 and 9005 listed with the HB4 bulbs? i was wondering which ones that the 300gs use?
Last week I changed mine out to a PIAA Super Plasma GT-X... The '06 GS uses a 9006/HB bulb.. PIAA's Ion Crystal HB bulb is a pretty good "yellow" bulb to use if you want a yellow fog. Or even Raybrig.

i just ordered the PIAA 2500K ion-yellow hb4 9006 for my fog lights. has anyone used these before? i wanted bright yellow fog lights...hopefully these are what i was looking for.
I have used the PIAA Ion Yellow's in our X5 for the foglights for 3 years now and they work great. No problem with them at all and they are pretty bright on the road.
Will post pics of our GS next week... (including the foglights)
