Default Default NAV Screen

Is there a way to bypass the caution/disclaimer screen? Specifically, I would prefer to have radio be the default screen when the car is turned on, provided the radio was left on previously. It seems that no matter what, Lexus will not let you bypass the dang thing. I have no problem with it being there if I enter a Map/Destination screen, but why must I always deal with the disclaimer even if I'm not viewing or using the maps?

i think the only screen it will "stay" on after turning the car of is "INFO". if you leave it on info, you won't see that screen again until you try to do a map function. for some reason it doesn't stay on climate or audio.

there is some interesting discussion in the GX forum about a company that is making this bypass kit for the "i agree" button as well as the motion control of nav and bluetooth. i am anxious to see if it works (will be out in 6-8 wks). it's a $99 mod that doesn't involve cutting wires or voiding warranties, which would be great.

read about it here: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=159170

Thanks lexuslover. I read the thread and I'm looking forward to hearing from people once they receive the adapter. I normally don't go for mods on a brand new car, but this one I may have to get.

I discovered something interesting regarding the disclaimer NAV screen. Maybe everyone knows this already, but I thought I would share it anyway. Although I can't make the audio screen the default screen, I can make the Trip Info the default screen when starting the car.

Before turning off the car, simple go to the trip info screen, then turn off the car. From that point on every time you start the car the trip info page will come up instead of that darned disclaimer screen. Of course if you go to Map, then the disclaimer pops up.

For me, looking at the trip info page is far less annoying the the caution/disclaimer.
