Default Lowering 06 Gs430.

I know the 06 Gs is new but i'm just curious, Will it be possible to swap coilovers to the new Gs when it already has the damping feature on it, and is it okay to put new rims on now that it has tire pressure monitoring system, and can that still be used with new rims?

I'm sure you could but you will negate the utilization of the factory Adaptive Variable Suspension unit.

That's what i figured, but how are we going pimp the 06 Gs, and pay all that money for nothing. I guess i'll just have to stick with what i got for awhile.

Definitely worth the wait! Just enjoy your Gen2 for a while.

Is the AVS suspension automatically variable according to speed, or is it the usually switch? If it is just the switch, one could simply put in Tein coil overs with the EDFC controller right? Now, if it had factor air suspension that would be a different thing.

Electronic switch. Think of it as a 2 setting factory EDFC. No it's not Tein coilover compatible unfortunately. Perhaps Tein will in the near future offer a coilover replacement to work with the current AVS? Now that would be something.

Can't you just use the existing shocks and just change the springs to lower the car? That way you won't lose the Adaptive Variable Suspension. Of couse I'm just assuming Adaptive Variable Suspension is just changing the dampening of the shocks.

No because the AVS system is linked to the factory shock setup.

I honestly couldn't tell you at this point granted I haven't had a chance to see the suspension/drivetrain layout of the new AWD.
