Default 06 GS 430 or 06 M45

I have been itchin to get into the new cars. As you can see i'm in alittle situation, I'm not sure what i want $58 for a fully loaded GS430 is steep but lexus is a perstiguos product. Infinity M45 is just hot rite now, and at $60 fully loaded sport (including dvd in the back for the kidies) has more options then GS430. What do you guys think i should do, cause this is only a temp thing till i hope GS460 or 08 skyline GTR or supra < dreamin there.

if its temp, defenately go with the Lexus.

The cars themselves are pretty evenly matches, however, Infiniti loses value like crazy, look at Q45's, you can pick these babies used for next to nothing. Lexus holds value much better, so if you are going to be selling it soon, get the GS430 or better yet GS300.

Actually the M holds it's value quite well (IIRC, it holds it better than the GS).

It won a KBB award for the best resale (in its class and as one of a top ten).

only because the gs hasn't been out long enough to get a rating (I believe)

The GS was launched around the same time (or a little before) the M was.

Like Gene said if you compare Apples to Apples the GS is a better car. The one thing I didn't like with the M was the fit and finish of the car I test drove vs the GS. Bar none the GS was better put together. Just my 2 cents.

I agree, if the lesser hp of the GS430 bothers you, just wait for the GS450h or GS460, which will be available within a year . . .

It's too early to say how the new M will hold value, it's been available for less than a year. The fact is that the old M45 and Q45 do not hold value well at all, while GS is proven to hold value very well.
