Is it me or does it seem like all the pics we are seeing ALL have the Navagation package. Does anyone have pics of the GS without it

someone please correct me if i am wrong, but . . .

i think all the new GS's will have the screen you see in the pics. if you buy the ML/Nav package, then your get navigation. if not, the screen is going to be used for audio/climate/trip controls (similar to the old RX300 with the LCD screen - some with Nav, others without)

ya that is correct...it will display all those informationo n the screen and the console will have HVAC setting/controls. everythign will look exactly the same ....all the GS interior is identical..the nav is just added by instaling the map software if u choose to get mark levinson pkg.

You will see the same info screen on all the models. Your HVAC, Radio, Trip computer controls will be all on that screen for Nav and non Nav models.

Well that is smart. And also a GREAT way to cut costs. Instead of having to have 4 dashboards (Nav, No NAV, left hand and right hand drive) like the last gen, you will now need just 2 dashboards, left hand drive and right hand drive. Now that was smart. It also is futuristic and seperates the GS from many other cars in this class.

The RX 300 interior still looks avante garde with its screen controling everything. Hella cool to look at compared to the competition, even if you don't have NAV.

Does the non nav RX300 have a screen that controls everything like a nav equiped car would? The must have dropped that for the 04+ RX330 because my non nav RX330 has a different set up from the nav cars. I get this little information screen only

I should rephrase everything. It controls many functions, radio, HVAC, etc. But not everything.
