Hello all - my 2013 GS LR window works however - if I put the window all the up it automatically lowers itself down. I can "bump" the window up slowly till it is very close to the top but will get a "window open" message. I cannot find what triggers the warning, is their a proximity switch on the motor/regulator? This is more of an annoyance than anything, like I said the motor works fine but will travel all the up then automatically lower.
Thanks
Is there anything in the upper window track that would cause enough resistance to make your window roll back down? Usually they do this if they hit an obstacle.
Hello,
The window goes up nice and easy - as soon as it gets to the very top it will reverse and go down. If I tap the window up with the switch right before it hits the very top it will be OK, however the window open message appears. I am thinking there is some type of proximity switch that knows the position (full up or down) for the glass and the "up" part is defective.
