I always looked at the pictures of a fresh GS back when the car was new and wondered if I can restore mine to look like that beautiful rich black front grille:
As you can see my grille horrible peeled and faded black plastic
Buy a cheap matte black paint and some $2 paper tape:
Protect your car paint very well especially chrome bits and clean it very well with water, start spraying and make sure to triple coat it for extra-long life:
........and there you are almost as deep and dark black grille as a fresh GS from 2008: (Now of course you can take it to the next level with proper automotive paint and full disassembly with sanding, but I wanted a quick 30m restoration and am really pleased with the result, let's hope it will not fade in a short time)
