Default Low beam projector replacement

Has anyone tried to replace the low beam projector lens. Just replaced the bulbs because old ones were really dim and one occasionally failed to even ignite but the new bulbs don't even seem that much brighter than the old ones. I just got my headlights polished as well so the plastic is super clear. I'm thinking of replacing the projector lens. Does anyone have any experience with this? Is it worthwhile to get an LED replacement lens instead and ditch the HIDs altogether?

I looked into it and tried 4 brands, these by far were the brightest. Pretty nice upgrade.

Thanks but I need help with the projector lens itself, bulbs are fairly easy to find.

Consider
https://auxbeam.com/products/d4-d4s-...bulbs-gd002318
https://www.vleds.com/shop-applicati...ight-pair.html

You CAN replace the projectors but this is a highly involved project you'll be cutting, modding, painting, gluing. Plus it's unlikely you're going to get a large improvement, bang for the buck by putting in a bright LED is much better.

Auxbeam is straight up lying about specs, VLEDS says 5000 lumens which is accurate that will give you 80-100% more light versus stock. Auxbeam will be about the same.

Okay thank you for the information but the thing is that it's illegal in my country to replace HIDs with LEDs without having a certified LED projector lens, because of how the light reflects it will most likely blind other drivers (or so I'm told that is the main issue here). That's why I was considering getting a certified LED projector lenses with good bulbs.

LED bulbs for low beam is illegal most everywhere in any kind of housing not just projectors. Doesn't mean LED bulbs produce bad beam pattern in all cases. If you want to custom modify your headlights that's a whole other level of project and you may not improve output at all, will need to research what projectors fit in your housings and have better output.

Properly designed LED bulbs do not produce glare or other issues as seen here, but honestly I'm tried of trying convince people that have never tried LED bulbs themselves.

Oh I'm very much pro LED and I really do hate that it's illegal to modify them for street use. Getting stuck with an idea because of a personal preference is something that never bothers me, however legal issues, don't really mess with them.

Is there enforcement where you live? Here you will never get pulled over unless you do stupid lighting mods like purple headlights or other obnoxious in your face dangerous things.

Not necessarily but I don't feel like I want to switch the bulbs for yearly inspection.
