Hey fam, so I have a 2010 GS 350 and It might just be me assuming but I could have sworn that the ambient lighting on the door handles and the side compartments on the doors stayed on while driving(at night obviously) I know the footwells stay on and the center consol over head stay on but other than that the ones I mentioned only turn on when I put the car in park for the handles and the side compartment only does it when I open the door. Am I tweaking or are they suppose to stay on in night mode? Thanks in advance

 

When you switch the lights ON they lit but once you put the car in drive they dim. Maybe there is a customization in Toyota-Touch Stream software to let you do that, the GS is known for weak interior lighting and the spotlight design made things worse. My friend has GS430 with black interior and tinted the windows, its pitch black at night, mine is cream color and a little bit better, I wish Lexus used similar interior lighting like the E-Class which illuminate the whole cabin beautifully.
