I am just wondering if any one changed his shocks to KYB and how does it feel! for lexus gs 350 AWD 2009! Any recommendations

Does the car feel like brand new on the bumbs after replacing them?

 

my 460 has always felt rough over bumps, even with new suspension. But I didn’t notice any degradation of ride quality after installing the aftermarket KYBs.

2008 GS460 with AVS.. I KYB shocks and mounts in the rear and front. Support AVS, purchased from Rockauto. Also did sway bar bushings (FIGS) and end links (Sankei555). And alignment. Car rides amazing again, no clunks over bumps.


Front mounts and absorbers.

Old ones were toast. (note OEM are KYB)

Installed. I sprayed PB blaster before the wrk to make it easier for the tech.

Rears. (I removed the trunk liner to make it easier for tech)

Installed.

Sway bar endlinks

Sway bar bushings.

Mounts and shocks from rockauto, yes. The GS350 ones fit my GS460 (AVS Option). Also the front insulators, which were OEM, see part # in pic above. You can get the sway bar links and bushings on rockauto as well, or OEM: use code CL5 for 5% off for Club Lexus members.
