Default 2009 Gs350 Trunk Issue

Hi everyone, I’ve had an ‘09 GS350 for about a year now. When I bought it, the previous owner mentioned that the trunk only opens with the key and doesn’t respond to the button inside the car, the key fob, or even the pad on the trunk itself. The strange part is that you can still hear the motor or actuator working when you try to open or lock the trunk, but it just won’t open unless you use the key directly. I’ve already checked the valet button, but that didn’t solve the issue. Does anyone know what the problem could be? Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hey, I think this is a plastic snap at the end of the cable running from the actuator to your trunk's lock. It may only be available with the entire cable assembly. Take a look at Part Number 64607-50010.
