Default Tire pressure light

06 gs300. My low pressure light always comes on because I have small leaks on my tires often. Sometimes I ignore the light and fill it up every couple weeks. Today I filled up all four tires and the light is still on. Not blinking or anything but it's still on. Any ideas why?

Get your sensors checked, they might be bad, also you might need top replace your wheels if they are cracked.

If your tire psi is all the same and you have driven on the car. Then more likely your sensors batteries are dead. Because the sensors are a sealed unit, easiest way is to buy new sensors. I purchased denso (basically oem sensors) from rock auto! Make sure you snap a picture of every sensor serial id. You will need to take it to a tire shop and have them swap out the sensors. If the tire shop is honest they can easily just break the bead on onside of the tire just enough to give access to the sensors. Unbolt and install the new one and just air up the tires to lock the beads.

Then the mechanic will need to delete the old numbers and log in the new serial numbers that you will give him from the pictures you took of the 4 sensors into the cars ecu. If you do not do this your codes will not go away, the sensors are not self coding. Toyota dealer may charge you 1/2 hours labour if the tire shops unable to do it.

Also what is the reason for the air leak? You might have some rust building up inside of the wheels from the coating pealing off. I had this problem, and it drove me crazy. I took it to a shop and they wire wheeled the inside of my wheels clean and stopped all the leaks
