Experiences with tanabe/revel medallion axleback
Hi all, I was just wondering if any of you are running or have had experience with the tanabe/revel medallion axleback exhaust on your GS350. I previously had a rev9 axleback on my car and I had to remove it after a month because I was getting tired of the drone at freeway speeds such as at 80mph. The exhaust was making a noticable drone at that speed between 2 and 3k rpm that made it difficult to have conversations in the car. So I wanted to ask for those who have the more expensive tanabe/revel system if such drone exists and if it does is it not too intrusive? Better so, does anyone have any sound clips of theirs at highway speeds if possible?

Wanted to get an axleback exhaust. Everyone recommended the Tanabe Medalion. I ordered one, but its now called Revel, and made in China instead of Japan.
The left side was higher than the right so I needed a different exhaust hanger to make them level. The quality was nice but it made a weird noise at redline. I sent it back. Not happy spending $900 for chinese stuff. Also considered getting the F-Sport exhaust.
Found a used Rev9 axleback on offerup. Also bought a new exhaust gasket at the dealer. $300 total. And sounds nice.
Recently Found an Ividia Axleback and midpipe. Removed the old Rev9 and installed the Invidia axleback. Its actually quieter, less drone. And the metal alloy is nicer, contains more nickel, has a golden glow. Looks better in my opinion. As for the midpipe, its for the GS350, so will require adjustment. Also its been discontinued, so obviously they are pretty rare.
Went to the local exhaust shop and had them install the Invidia mid pipe. Since its for the GS350, they had to weld piping to the exhaust headers, also move the oxygen sensor locations. It sounds pretty nice altogether. No real drone and only loud when accelerating.
