Ive changed the plugs, but i saw a post where a guy said he had all these symptoms and it ended up being the OCV. He even had the amazon link listed to order it. I cant find the post for some reason.

Werent you the one who had this problem awhile back? Were you not able to solve it?

As for the blinking check engine light then that something serious. Did you get the car code scanned? If not take it to auto parts store and have them scan the codes for you.

Maybe its best to bite the bullet and take it to a mechanic for atleast 1 hours worth of diagnostics. This way you dont spend more money on parts or even worst blow the engine up for something stupid that could have easily been repaired.

Blinking check engine light is a misfire on cylinder 1. I swapped plugs and coils around still got misfire on 1. So i tested the ohms for port fuel injectors on that side and got 12.6-12.8. Tested ohms for ocv and got 7.2 on all. Im thinking it could be the pcv valve or the direct injector on cylinder 1.

Go out and buy one spark plug, and replace it with cyl 1, or if you have an old plug swap it out. if that doesnt solve it! Remove the plug, insert the plug in the coil but out of the cylinder. Place a dummy plug inside the open spark hole. Ground the spark plugs housing on an engine ground. Then have someone crank the cars engine, and see if that spark plug is actually igniting.

Im wondering if the plugs you originally swapped out were a knock off or not. How much did you pay for those plugs? Where did you buy them. Also when you remove the spark plug, you can see what kind of condition it is in and determine if its spark or fuel. Just google spark plug charts and look through images. If the plugs have fuel, then the spark is not there. If there dried then theres not fuel. I dont know how accurate they would be with our engine being direct injection but atleast it may help.
