2007 GS 350 and GS 460?
When do you guys expect Lexus to announce information ( changes, features, etc. ) on the 2007 GS 350 and GS 460? I'm graduating in a couple of months and I don't know if I should wait for the 2007 GS 350 AWD or jump ship and purchase a 2007 GS 450h.

You wanted the GS350 AWD so I suppose it's for the winter weather in your area, the GS450h is RWD, so are you willing to give up AWD or is that a very important consideration ? The hybrid will have more power & other different characteristics . . .

AWD if you are only going to have 1 car. Even with snow tires and VDIM when
you're going up steep hills or iced bridges like it often happens in NH, VT or
even MA you will wish you were driving a 15K Civic.

Probably a lil off topic but since you guys are talking about the GS450h...I've been wondering that since the GS450h uses the same engine as the IS350 but is detuned to 280hp, would it be possible to tune it back up to the original IS350 specs?...heh

If it were not an absolute necessity (where it snows a lot) I would trade AWD for a
GS460 or an LS460 without a problem.
Thanks for the replies guys; you all made good points. I guess the GS AWD isn't something to pass up or substitute with VDIM when you live in areas with bad weather? I'm leaning more towards waiting for the 2007 GS 350 AWD now. Also, thanks to whoever added the poll to my thread.
Winter weather and the VDIM is a big advantage. The GS350 AWD would not have the same performance but is a nice alternative. If you constantly drive in hilly areas or go skiing in Vermont then the AWD would be a bonus..

I'm going with the hybrid since I live in California and don't have snow where I live. Plus, should the time come when I upgrade to the new LS hybrid. I think I'll get more for the hybrid since the demand is higher for them here.
